I think AI can be a very helpful tool for things like studying and aiding people but still monitored. An assignment that AI would struggle with would be if it was required to do an art assignment with the prompt “Create something that shows your personality in a creative way.” When I tried to use different AI platforms to make “original” artwork I had a really hard time getting it to generate something that had any feeling. I think that it can be used to make simple graphics. However, if the assignment asked it to create something that were to evoke emotion then I think it would fail. I mean how could it make me feel something if AI doesn’t have emotions or a personality itself. It doesn’t have a lifetime of memories that could show through.
